You made a deal with the sandman.
You'll continue to follow your steps blindly,
and the sandman will precede to strike me,
every thought once these eyes close.
I feel blind to open arms,
deaf to voices outside of my own.
My heart knows where it wants to be,
and for that I pay the blind mans fee.
Somebody show me that there's something better.
I've seen no signs, no action, no truth.
Has love broken me? Yeah, and I hold this shattered proof.
I stare at your picture, swishing my drink around.
No expression, no blinks, no sound.
Once again I'll beat myself up inside
cause I am the tragedy that comes to life.
